guidelines

  • Recommended for first-timers (no prior yoga experience) and beginners (limited prior experience).
  • YOGA CHILL – Level 1 is recommended for older adults and seniors and for anxiety management.
  • Yoga and exercise background not required.

class levels

With emphasis on effortless yoga poses, slow and intentional movements, and deep relaxation and release, this class is an opportunity to nurture your body and mind; to find balance between movement and stillness. As you move with purpose, learn to let go of tension in the body. Through breath awareness, ease the mind away from anxiety.

This is the ideal, foundational class for becoming familiar with breathwork, proper form and activation, and movement principles in yoga. While this class is still beginner-friendly and set at a mild pace, expect more active poses and flowing sequences that require foundational strength, stability, and coordination.
